Text selection displays wrong?

TED7 - selecting text with the mouse seems to work ok for me, but I do observe a strange.....error?

If you go to the beginning of a line and press shft + end to select the line of text it does not select the EOL marker

but

If you select the line by clicking in the left hand margin or by using the mouse then it select the whole line including the EOL marker.

Inconsistent behaviour.

I am using XP Pro SP2 and TP 5.1.0
