On one computer when I open Explorer it shows the tree structure. On the other computer the Explorer view just shows an icon with "Desktop". Clicking does nothing and I cannot open up the directory tree.
I obviously have a setting incorrect but can't find it! Please help.
TIA
Alan

I could not find this in the HELP file in TextPad.
Maybe it needs an update?
Try these steps:
Be sure to stretch the window to maximum width.
From the Main Menu, click on View/Explorer Bar/Folders
No resize left and right sides as needed by adjusting the vertical bar in between the folders on the left, and the files on the right.

I also searched HELP and couldn't find any thing.
I have tried expanding the Explorer window in case it was hiding information.
In Main Menu I have View/Explorer not as you have View/Explorer Bar/Folders.
I am using 5.1 under windows XP Pro.
I have just found another post saying it will be fixed soon. Apparently the bug occurs when the Desktop is empty - as mine is.
Thanks for your help anyway
