I couldn't figure out how to get the cascade view turned on with the new interface in 5.0.3 even after checking the Textpad Help. I did find the information in the forums.
1) I think it's not intuitive to have the View | Document Tabs switch disable the cascade feature. Apparently I'm not alone (see the "cascade doesn't work" thread in the General forum.)
2) If you can't change the user interface, at the very least you should add some references in the Help to explain this side effect of turning tabs on/off.
