HELP NEEDED: Issue with the color dialog...

Post by bobhyland »

Ok, 27 people have looked at this... and NO ONE knows the issue? PLEASE: I need a little help here.

QUESTION: does anybody know if the default fonts changed if this might be part of the issue? Does anybody know which font TextPad uses in this dialog box? Perhaps I might solve this if I swapped out the existing one for one of the other fonts off the CD? Just an idea (I am getting desperate). Thanks!

I have an interesting issue that I am hoping someone can help with.

I am trying to change the colors associated with Keywords 3. I go to Preferences --> Document Classes --> Assembler (as an example).

I have the syntax configuration file working well. However, when I try to change the Foreground Color (same issue with the Background Color) in the dialog, I cannot enter the numbers I want in the Red, Green and Blue sections. The issue I have is that I can only enter 2 (TWO) digits under each one. It will not accept a third digit.

NOTE: The digits look as though they are shifted slightly to the right in the Text box. However, there is no space character to the left of the digits entered. I have selected the entire cell and hit DEL, which clears the cell. However, I can still only type 2 digits.

I am also unable to enter the digits in the paste buffer and PASTE it into the cell.

Anybody have any idea what is happening? :? I am using Windows XP.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Bob H.
