Bug Report: persistence not maintained on second window

Hi,

The previous version of TextPad worked well in this respect, but v5.03 has a bug, whereby if I open a second instance of TextPad, TextPad does not use the size and positiion of the last window, but defaults to some standard window size. The previous version worked great. I do not so much care about the winodow position, but I would like the window size to be maintained, when opening the second or more instances.

The window sizes will be returned to the previous behaviour, as in TextPad 4, in a future maintenance release.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply, but I have no idea what you are saying and if you will fix the bug. Here is an example for you to try.

1. Open up TextPad and size and position the window on the desktop.

2. Close TextPad.

3. Re-open TextPad and notice that the TextPad window returns to the same position and size.

4. Open another instance of TextPad. Notice that the position, and ESPECIALLY the size, will not be as the first instance, but be of some windows default setting, basic trash.

The proper behavior is that all instances should open up to the same size.
