Frustrated with various problems with 5.0, I've reverted to 4.7. All is well and I'm very happy to be back with the environment I like.
Just one issue remains. My HTML files used to color-code so that different types of tags were colored differently. I can't seem to find how to get that feature back.

the syntax file has different keyword blocks each will have their own color. when i "upgraded" i lost my syntax files (even though they are nowhere near the textpad install folder... odd that) so you may have to find your old syntax files and put them back into your samples folder (or wherever you normally store them) to get your colors back

You can find them by searching for files named *.syn
TextPad is looking for them in the folder defined in Configuration/Preferences/Folders/Syntax
The specific file for the document is defined within the Classes:
Configuration/Preferences/Document Classes/Class Type/Syntax
