You can't open "textpad" files ..... what do you mean by "textpad" files? The textpad executable, or some files you have associated with Textpad?

The method, means how are you trying to open a file? Double click in Explore, Select from folder in Explore and right click? Start Textpad and do File/Open? Some other method?

If cannot open js files, have you associated them with textpad?

Lots of unknowns for people who are wanting to help you.

Again, answering the method you are using will probably be most helpful. From what application, what key/mouse commands, what is full path and name of files that will not open?
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,
Bob

krisnicaj, if you haven't already done so, I recommend that you upgrade to TextPad 5.0.3, and see if that helps.

sorry about that..... for instance i cant open my .java files that i program for my java college class by: double clicking in explore. when i double click on them the textpad program opens up but with a blank page so i then have to open the file by going to file..... open..... and all that stuff.

what i want to be able to do is when i pop in my flash drive, open my flash drive folders up and double click on my programed java files and be ready to start working on it.... i hope i cleared it up better bc it gets annoying that i cant open up my files and not have them already loaded.
