When using the Find there is only the option to mark all which involves scrolling through the document - could the ability to send to the search window be added?
There is a work around, i.e. specify the file in Find in Files (or even scroll through the list of all files), but this involves me typing
- an extra button in Find (like Mark All) would be far better 
especially as all the functionality is already there!
