Entering a folder that contains a large number of files

Post by Gopee »

Hi to all, I'm using Textpad for the first time and trying to input a folder that contains files (1-2 files per day for the whole year of 2000) and can't seem to manage it. Is this possible and if so how?

Thanks, much appreciated

Gopee.

I am confused about what you are trying to do. Can you try to explain this again?
The word that confuses me most is "input".
Do you mean you want to "open" all 500-700 files in one folder, all at the same time?
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,
Bob

Entering a folder that contains a large number of files

Hi, I have a folder that contains several hundred files, within each file is relevant information that I want to extract. Whatever way best and simple to do this, I want to do.

Thanks, Gopee

If the relevant information has a unique qualifier try the "Find in Files .."-function. Select "Search | Find in Files" or press Strg+F5.

That's right! It's only "Strg" on a german keyboard.
