Make Textpad open source?

A message to the Textpad developers. If you guys are not going to be releasing any more new version of Textpad, which we still havent heard anything from you about it, will you please release the source code so we can do something with it?

We have heard? What, when, where? The last I heard is "Just wait". No expected time frame or anything. Did I miss something? I sure hope I did. Was something else said about a release? PLEASE tell me where it is. I will be elated to see it and be wrong on this matter. Nothing would please me more.
