The Help file in TextPad details how to transfer preferences, but does not include Windows XP. I tried it anyway, but it didn't work.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to moving TestPad Preferences from Win-NT, Win-98SE, etc to Win-XP?

The information in the TextPad Help files regarding the transferring of settings to another PC, is also correct for Windows XP. I have just tested it by exporting my settings from Windows 98 and NT, and then importing them into Windows XP.
The problems normally occur when you try going in the other direction. When exporting from XP, you need to ensure that the .reg file is saved as the correct type for Win 9x/NT.
