Ok there wasnt enough room in the title so...

Problem with Preferences -> When Files are modified by another process

When you select "ignore," I would think that Textpad would ignore any changes to the doc you are working on by any other process and directly save over it when you click the save button.

This doesnt seem to happen though. I have another program that I use that modifies the html doc I am working on in textpad, while I am working on it, and everytime its gets modified by that other program, the Save button changes to a Save As button, and takes me to the window that would let me change the filename etc.. then when I click save it asks me if I want to overwrite the file and I must click yes there. Since I save a LOT this gets somewhat tiresome.

Anyway, it doesnt seem like it used to do this, but just started happening in the last few months, possibly after I upgraded. It used to be I could just click save and it would save it without asking me anything.

I can change this option to "reload" but that gets rid of changes the other process made.

Any hint on getting "Ignore" to work? Because its sure not ignoring changes when I try to save.

Thanks
