Wildedit config.xml

Post by Nathan »

Hi,
I am a new user to Wildedit and I would like to use the command line option ( after making some changes in the config.xml ) . However, I am unable to view config.xml anywhere. Am I missing something here?

It's located in C:\Documents and Settings\*user*\Application Data\Helios\WildEdit - Hope that helps

Hmm, do you mean something like this?

Code: Select all

WildEdit -c %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Helios\Wild Edit\config.xml -f c:\work
Starts WE using the default config using folder c:\work.

Yup,
I got that in the help file. But is there any place where I can mention the strings ( source string and replacement string ) at the command line itself? Could it be written in the config.xml somewhere?

AFAIK that's not possible, these parameters in the help file are the only one (ie. c f e s t).
