New behavior of 'reformat' in 4.7?

In versions prior to 4.7.1, if I did a 'split wrapped lines' on a string contatinng no spaces (up to 360 characters), and then a 'reformat' of the new paragaraph, the original string was restored.

When I do this in 4.7.1 and 4.7.2, the original string is not restored. Instead, I get a string cantaining a space where the carriage return was.

Has TextPad always terminated lines with '0D0A'? Is there an option to not insert a space for the carriage return when doing a 'reformat' (I couldn't find one)?

Changing my pref's to save files in UNIX format changed the '0D0A' to '0A', but did not change the other behavior.
