document selector

2 questions:

1. How do I undock the selector so it appears normally?

2. Somehow I switched the undocked selector from vertical to horizontal.
How to I switch it back to horizontal?

Right click on the grey *border* of the document selector. A tiny menu pops up. Check on "Allow docking". Now you can drag it to the side of the TextPad screen and dock it again.
