I just got a firewall notice that Textpad was trying to reach the internet. Specifically, it was opening port 80 on
12.158.80.10 .
That server seems to contain a few dozen certificate revocation lists. Does anyone know why Textpad would feel the need to do such a thing?

TextPad doesn't contain any code to access the internet. I suggest that you scan your system for a trojan virus.

Looks like it was actually windows trying to access the internet and my firewall recognized it as textpad because the call came from within one of TP's open file dialogs.
