How to enlarge the Textpad fonts in file selector and dialog

Post by mpniel »

Is it possible to change the Textpad fonts in file selector and dialog boxes.
In all the dialog boxes and the file selector, the font size is very smal to read .
My environment is Windows Nt desktop 1280 by 1024 pixels with small fonts.
I can't switch to windows large fonts because some software i use doesn't work properly.

Close all documents.
Configure, Preferences, Document Classes, Default (or othr Class), Font, Make changes, note differences for screen/printer, Apply, OK.
Close TextPad.
Reopen TextPad again.
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,

I think that Textpad uses system fonts for the dialogs - the file dialog IS a system dialog.

Therefore the place to adjust the dialog font size is the system.

If you can't use "large font" setting, you can still adjust each single font size.

Right click on desktop, select "Properties". Go to tab called "Appearance".
Under "Item" select the item for which you want to change the font size, then adjust font-size to your needs.

This is the first thing that I tried.
But there is no item in the apearance window which can change the Textpad dialog boxes fonts.

Just to bring this topic to an end, you can "hack" TP to make the dialog fonts bigger.
See here http://textpad.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5054
I'm using Courier 10 in my find/replace dialogs and so far no problems. Knock on...
Then I open up and see
the person fumbling here is me
a different way to be
