Hi
i recently added .reg as a new document class
using the reg.sys to define document syntax
unfortunately reg files are now apparently, saved as binary
and cannot import reg files saved in textpad to registry anymore
i have to open in notepad and save again to be able to import
reg files to the registry.
i looked for options that might be causing this
ex. option to save hard breaks VS save with no breaks in lines
or by changing default encoding to DOS
nothing seems to work
i know there must be a workaround or something i'm missing
this has never happened before..
please help
thanks
mike
Saves .REG files as Binary? cannot import - how to fix?
