Hello,
Is there a way to automatically update certain functions, such as "Date and Time"...say when opened, or closed, or printed?

You can already get time and date when printing. See the help section on customizing printing and use of header macros.
And you could make a macro to do Edit, Insert, Time and Date after positioning cursor. You could also make a macro to delete and replace these values for current updating. This could include a Close and/or Save command.
And the macros could be made into hot keys for easy execution.

Hope this was helpful.............good luck,

Thanks Bob, I've got a strange one here. I've been using a macro to insert the date in other documents, but this one is a form (To Do list, calendar, etc) I've constructed using html which I print from within IE, and will need to be done every day. As it has to do with medications and reminding someone with severe memory loss what day it is I know there is going to be the day that I forget to do the update and I wanted to avoid that by way of something that took it out of my hands once set up.
Oh, yes...and the date is no good as just a header, it's a #1 head under some other text.
