after compiling simple programs ie hello world, once u try to run the program from run java application i get the error exception in thread "main" java.lang.noClassDefFoundError......
it is strange because it was working with programs b4

I suspect if it runs fine from the command prompt but not in TP the current working directory is not being passed to the classpath variable.
thanks i got it going by doing a system restore to the first time it was installed, i reran blaster the worm removal software, i think that may have altered the path, thanks anyway
