DD Help error when compiling java

I am in need of urgent assistance! I am recieving a DDHELP error when I attempt to compile a java applet. I just downloaded textpad to my home computer, and after first recieving this error, promptly downloaded my latest drivers. I restarted, but ran into the problem again. I then moved my display setting's performance acceleration from full to none, as indicated by Microsoft's website. This also hasn't worked. I have the crappy MS WinME, but I cannot replace it. Any solutions, ideas, or inquiries would be appreciated.
