license code problems

I purchased textpad 4.5 and when i copied and pasted my license code, it worked! nothing wrong, screen came up saying its registered and opened up whatever files i wanted to, but than , a few minutes later, i open up a file and all of the sudden it says i using an evaluation copy and shuld register and the annoying windowe pops up, can you explain why this happens? installed adn reinstalled but still same problem, please help, thanx

I get the same problem.

I'm running Win2k Professional and Win2k Advanced Server, both with SP3.

What privileges does your account have? Perhaps something is preventing your registry from updating?

I am having a slightly different problem. After I entered the lic code, I can close and open Textpad one more time. The third time, the lic will disappear.
