block cursor always?

Post by MudGuard »

Hello,

a colleague would like to have a block cursor in both insert and overwrite modes.

Is this possible?

Configure - Preferences - View - Block Cursor just toggles which cursor is used for which mode...

TIA,
Andreas

Sorry. It's the only way of telling whether you're in overtype or insert mode, so we assumed users would prefer the cursors to be different. Perhaps your colleague can make the insert cursor more visible by changing the blink rate on Control Panel/Keyboard.

Keith, that's not true - there is also the Ovr field in the status bar...

I will tell my colleague it is not possible.

(I would not like to have one cursor for both modes...)
