NEVERMIND....I FOUND THE ANSWER (BY MISTAKE)

Hi:

How do you remove an outdated tool from TextPad? i.e.: Configure->Preferences->Tools->??????????

Just so other people will find the solution in the forum archive:

Configure - Preference - Tools
Select Tool in List, then select the red X or press Delete.

Attention: no undo...
