What are the limitations of the evaluation copy of TextPad? How long can I use the evaluation copy before having to make purchase?

The limitation is your conscience. It's a full featured release. It will gently remind you when you save a file that it's not registered.

I think you can't disable the startup logo in the evaluation copy,
not sure, it's been a while.
