Help its all b/w

hi there

I just got me 4.71 but its not applying any color scheme to any kind of file. The only color I see when editing an html file for example is the yellowish of the currectly used line thing

The colors for html files are correctly defined in the preferences - is there an 'apply color scheme to file? y/n' option in this new version or whut?
