Need help with files
Actually, I particularly need help with .tre files. I have a few I would like to read and I was told I would be able to with this program, but when I open them it's just gibberish. Anyone know what I can do? Thanks.

*.tre files are generated from a couple of different programs.
Check out this page on FILExt.com for more info.

OK....
If it was from one of those programs, then at least you would have had a direction to look in: user forums, FAQ, newsgroups, Knowledge Bases, etc.
Since it's not generated from one of the programs listed, will this work?
How about PowerDesk 5 (replacement for Windows Explore), from VCOM with a built in viewer? May possibly be able to help you.

So there's no way to read .tre files with textpad then? I assumed there was a way since it's part of this program's description.
Edit: by the way, I downloaded that program too in case it would help, but it doesn't handle tre files. I tried anyway, and all it did was act like a second windows browser. I tried clicking the tre files, and it tried to open them with treeview which doesn't work either.
