Compiler works but I can't capture output

I am using a compiler with Textpad 4.7.1, but I am unable to capture the output because the dialog box items for enabling the capture and writing the Regular Expression are grayed out. So far, I haven't located any documentation for this problem.

Why does it say "PLEASE DO NOT POST QUESTIONS HERE" at the top of the HOW-TO forum?

Output capture does only work for tools which are set up as DOS commands, not for program files.
