I use TextPad constantly, and it's one of the best applications I've ever used.
The one feature I would love to see is persistent bookmarks.
Perhaps TextPad could store in the registry the line numbers of the bookmarks for the most-recently-used documents.
It seems like an easy feature to add, and it would be a great help for me!
Thanks,
-Graham

re: persistent workspace
All this time and I never tried the workspace feature.webmasta wrote:Have you tried creating a workspace??, then opening that workspace all your stuff will be intact and it will even take you back to the line you were at when you closed TP..
File /workspace /save
or Alt+F,W,A, to save as
then Alt+F,W,S, to continue saving as you work ..
TP rockz...
That's a big help, thanks!
It still would be nice to have persistent bookmarks without saving the workspace.
Thanks,

Then how about a KB shortcut?? Nothng can be faster than that.
Configure /preferences /keyboard /file
In any case the workspace is saved when TP is closed with your last working space... which could mean that if you open a space and accidentally close a file, when the space is loaded again that file will be missing..
I still dont agree with the way that works.. we should have direct control over that workspace save insted of TP doing our housekeeping ...
Or maybe, we could have a little tubby knocking on screen to remind us
