Unable to initiate threads

The Textpad was used to compile JAVA before without problems until, suddenly, yesterday. When I loaded the same JAVA program (was compiled succesfully before), and this time, when I clicked "compile Java", it gave me the following error message:

Unable to intiate threads (null)
Tool completed with exit code 1

This one is in Windows 2000. The same TextPads have no problems in another computers using Window 95 and 98.

Anybody has had the same problems? How do you fix it (configuration?)?
