Ability to tag files as "ReadOnly" in and out of T

I would like to be able to adjust a files attributes from inside TextPad. I would also like to be able to tell Textpad to open a file as "ReadOnly" with out changing its attributes.

In the converse. As someone else sugested, The ablity to open a file with TextPad, set its attributes to "ReadOnly" and then be able to edit it, IE Version controle. would be nice too.
