How important is it to you, to have this feature implemented into future versions of TextPad?

Important, even if the size/efficiency of TextPad increases/degrades

save undo and redo buffers

Post by Web1X »

Ability to save undo and redo buffers and bookmarks with file, perhaps as a seperate file with the same name and it's own extension. This would be allow you to be able to resume where you left off when you last saved the file. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking this file should not be placed in the same folder as the text file, but maybe a sub folder of the TextPad program folder. In that case, you will have to serial number them for identically named files. The first line could contain the path and name of the file it is supposed to go with. Perhaps it would be a good idea to provide a "Purge Undo/Redo Buffer" command and button and a "Save Undo/Redo/Bookmarks" check box on the "Save As" dialog to protect sensitive documents.
