New Clipboard History functionallity
I love the new Clipboard History function that has been added but it seems to get cluttered very quickly. Is there anyway to have two ways to copy, one adds to this clip and the other does not? Some times I copy things that will only be a one time copy where other times I want them in the clip to be used again later.

I also find the clipboard history very convenient under certain circumstances. And I also see the problem here. You become inhibited about what you will copy, and you sometimes can lose something you wanted to keep.
I think this needs to be a tool separate from the clipboard. Something between a macro and a clip. A place where we can send scraps that will be reused but which also can be conveniently deleted, but which will persist over a shut down.
Also, if this could be a separate tool, it would be good to have a separate button to call it. I have a certain clip library open most of the time and it becomes a drag to have to open up the drop down box, select the history, insert the scrap, and get back to my usual library. This would be good even with the tool as it is.

This is available. It is a normal clip library...I think this needs to be a tool separate from the clipboard. Something between a macro and a clip. A place where we can send scraps that will be reused but which also can be conveniently deleted, but which will persist over a shut down.
Copy your stuff, right-click on a normal clip library and select "Paste new entry". You can even give it a name.
To make it persistent over a shutdown, just save the clip library (you get normally asked before closing Textpad if you forgot to save a clip library).

I know that you can delete items from the clipboard history but this is too time consuming to do. I am constantly using copy/paste, having to always keep track of which ones I need to delete from the library is not worth doing. It would be nice to have a different way to copy items into this list, or a different similar list so it would not get cluttered with every cut/copy.
Fantastic! I had just revisited this topic to post a work around (save a page with scraps that could be copied once to the history) but this is so much better.Quote:

Many thanks for pointing this out.[/quote]
