TextPad can't copy an dpast into Outlook Express / XP

When I copy and paste from TextPad to Outlook Express OE suddenly closes down. :!:

This means I can't use TextPad to send my newsletter as I have done for four years now.

This started a few days ago when the repair shop installed the available Service Pack 2 for XP on my computer system.

Has this happened to you? Do you have a fix?
