Disabling the DOS prompt when running Application

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to disable the DOS prompt from running whenever you run an application???? I don't like the extra windows popping up with my program.

Under Configure->Preferences, select "Run Java Application" from the Tools section and check the 'Capture Output' box.
Your output will now appear in the Command Results within Textpad itself.
