Hey folks,
I'm trying to help someone over IM get this set up to work JAVA.
They are using Windows XP so that may be the problem?
They downloaded the English version 4.5 and installed. They went under Tools and the Java stuff wasn't there. I tried it on my Win98 box and it was there, but didn't work. I had a version of javac installed but in a wacky path.
Once I downloaded JDK 1.1.18 and installed it and set my PATH variable things ran great on my system.
I had my friend start the download of JDK 1.1.18, but they had to take off before we could continue.
Am I on the right path? Do the java stuff not show up unless you have the javac, etc file installed?
If anyone has expression running this on XP please let me know.

Re: XP and default install SOLVED
I was right..
After downloading the JDK software you have to go to preferenes and add, then go to JDK tools;
