Works for me. I haven't done "QA" on this file, but it solves all of the various File/Open, double-click, context menu, and send-to failures related to files on the CD. When I look at "properites" on my text files on CD, they contains created and modifed timestamps, but the "accessed" field is blank ...

New build didn't make a difference.

I noticed in my Add/Remove Programs an entry for both TextPad and TextPad 4.7, so I uninstalled everything and re-installed. That also made no difference, but it was worth a shot.
