I'm having this same issue. my c:\ drive is NOT an SSD. It started about a week ago - very frustrating. (no textpad updates or changes) notepad++ save the exact same file immediately, texpad 5 is taking forever, definitely reducing my productivity. I don't want to change editors just because of this...

the same thing is happening to me - any ideas around it? I'm on version 5.4.2

I exported the registry entries from XP, and imported into vista, but none of my tools or settings are showing up. what am I missing?

Choosing a recent document or workspace using number keypad does not work, even with numlock on. Why?

I want the file to open in the most recent instance , just like it did in Textpad 4 TOO!!!! But I still want to be able to have multiple instances.
