Topic: Is there a TextPad Plugin (64-bit) to convert TXT to XML?

add verbose custom metadata to georeferenced imagery Different picture files can hold different metadata, and none of that has to be XML. Now I even wonder why you want every text line in one separate XML element when the whole text (including linebreaks) can be in one single XML element as well - ...

This one takes every line of a text file and puts it into an element. Even empty ones. And even multiple whitespaces, although XML will collapse them upon interpretation - instead they should be escaped thru entities. This one does quite the same, but uses other elements. Can't see any example ther...

I also want to add that it only happens with single quotes on the same line . Single quotes over multiple lines (as allowed in i.e. PHP or JS) won't trigger this glitch. Fortunately, "Amigo" (speak: friend) hasn't changed my opinion of TextPad I wonder how I could be able to ever achieve t...

And what should "convert TXT to XML" consist of? It means more than the world may know - you could have asked for "converting pictures to games" which also raises many questions.

http://reliberate.com/textpad/tabissue.html Eventually this video link probably won't work, so I'll try to describe the problem for future generations That is no video link. Instead, it's an HTML site insisting that my internet browser does not support video playback. It also requires Flash (talkin...

Re: Replace notepad selection is cleared

Bleachbit Ccleaner virus and malware scanners The obvious solution is: don't use that software if it doesn't give you an option to disable/skip such actions (speak: if they have more control over you than you over those). disable this key This is not possible. Change permissions to the key to read-...

Replacing bytes in a file without opening it is impossible, no matter how you look at it. You're either asking for a different editor (Notepad++ supports Unicode) or a different version (TextPad 8 finally supports Unicode as well).

On behalf of this: why not offering an INI or an XML file where one can freely edit shortcuts? In my programs I "simply" used the onclick-method names as identifiers, and thanks to RTTI the program is able to find methods by name, so I can do thrice: freely assign a menu item caption, free...

TextPad 8.1.0 running on Win7x64 in 1920x1080 with a DPI setting of 100%. As said before: I don't know the people's problem - the font is tiny, but still perfectly readible (just like the rest, except for the text on tabs, as I mentioned before in 7.6.2 & 8.0.2: unwanted anti-aliased text on tab...

Re: Unicode?

I tried to find similar questions (along with answers) which may help you in understanding what you asked: Are there advantages or disadvantages to editing files in Unicode as opposed to ASCII? Are there advantages or disadvantages to using a 64bit operating system as opposed to 32bit? [1] if a file...

I updated my version of the program recently, changing to the 64-bit version So you have a 64bit Windows, and had a 32bit TextPad, which was (correctly) located in \Program Files (x86)\ ? This might sound unthrilling to you, but updating 32bit to 64bit is not possible in a technical sense, because:...

No, it precisely does it to those you selected:

If you select one or none then (of course) all windows get tiled.

7.6.3 Find > Conditions > Regular expression unticks

The checkbox is randomly unticked. "Randomly" because I yet have not grasped a pattern on how to reproduce this. It happens when working with the very same TextPad window/instance - it's not a problem of closing TextPad and then starting a new instance. Opening new documents in there might...
