Just found another way of doing it... TextPad has put a command in my file context menu when I installed it. So, if I right click on a file, then choose Textad from the context menu, the files will keep opening up in the same instance of the programme. I mention this in case someone is reading this ...

I hope I can remember though, I automatically just double click on files to open them.

Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this?

I just want TextPad to open files in new tabs within the same instance of the programme when I double click a TextPad associated file.

Hi, I know that if I go to Text Pad and open a file from the menu, that I will have multiple tabs running on one instance of the programme - that is what I want. But, if I just double click on a file, then Text Pad opens a new instance of the programme. So, if I do this a number of times, I have ...
