Find In Workspace

I need to search for text in all documents in the current workspace. "Find In Files" won't do this, and nor will "Find", even when I select "In all documents".
The documents are not all in the same directory.
Can Textpad do this ?

YES, TextPad can do this in a true workspace.
I just did a Find in all Documents across files that are in different folders, and even on different drives across the network.
But, this is a true WorkSpace. These files have all been opened and saved as named WorkSpace.

I have a saved, named, workspace, and I tried exactly that, but it neither takes me to any of the other documents that contain the search term, nor pops up a list of search hits.

I used Search / Find
Mark All
Scope = All Documents.
Status bar shows that "Found 12 occurrence(s)"
Moving through the documents, all bookmarks are found.
There is no convenient way to locate the bookmarks among the documents, you must change documents, and then press F2 to move to Next Bookmark on each document.
This also works for Search / Replace
Replace All
Scope = All Documents

Thanks Bob.
So if I understand you correctly, I have to 'Mark All' then manually check each document (select then hit F2) to see if there is a marked search result. This seems to defeat the purpose of having a search all documents...

Well, before you go through the documents, look at the Status Line when you click on Mark All. It will confirm that you at least found the string or not.
It will say "Found nn occurrence(s) with a 0 or a higher number. If none are found, in addition to the "0" you will get a pop up window saying it could not find the string.
Note that the Status Line message is only there for a short time. If you close the Find window, or click in the document the Status line will clear that message.
