I have tried downloading from multiple sources and following the directions, but I don't know where to store the file.

The address I have for Textpad 5 is:
C:\Program Files\Textpad 5

I guess the "cs1 package" (whatever it is) is a java package.

If it is, try to get the install instructions from wherever you got the package.

Maybe it is enough to put the jar file into the correct folder in the jre/jdk installation (lib/ext iirc).
