Hello,

I just installed Textpad on my computer and am sick and tired of having to turn word wrap on for each and every file I open. I used to run textpad on my old computer and I had it set so word wrap was always on.

I sifted through the different options under Configure > Preferences, as well as through the threads on this forum, but to no avail.

How do I enable auto word-wrap?

In order to configure TextPad to open files with Word wrap enabled as the default, you will need to implement the following procedure:

From the Configure menu choose:

1. Preferences
2. "+" sign next to Document classes
3. Default
4. Check the option to "Word wrap long lines"
5. Check "Apply these settings to all document classes"
6. Click Apply / OK.
