I couldn't find this one: it would be nice if, when a file being edited has been changed on disk by another application (modified by another process), that it would be highlighted in the document selector. This could perhaps be by colour, so the file name would go green if the edited version is not different from what was loaded from disk when it was first opened, and red if it has (indicating potential clash with different edits to that in the changed disk version).

I dont use a feature like that much, but occasionally I would like notification if another process has modified a file, that would save several window traversals in about 5-20 % of editing sessions.

I vote for the last option.. It could be useful.
