Ctrl + Left Mouse Click

Post by jeff.nolan »

I searched for a bit, but did not find anything.
Is there a way to assign shortcuts to mouse clicks?

I want to make "Select Word" equal to Ctrl+Left Mouse Click.
So I don't have to double click. I know I can set up Ctrl+Space
or something, but I want to just hold down ctrl and click on my
mouse, copying and pasting between two pieces of code.

Thanks.

Try Double-Click. It doesn't matter if Ctrl is pressed.

(seems as if it is independent of "Preferences - Edit - Use Microsoft's convention for Mouse selection")

If shift is pressed, it extends the selection.
