No associated application

With TEXTPAD 5.1.0, when I click HELP then TEXTPAD ON THE WEB, a box is displayed saying "No application is associated with the specified file for this operation".
How do I resolve this problem?

Don't click that menu item.
All it does is open
http://www.textpad.com/ in a web browser, so really, you're not missing much.
What happens if you click Start->Run and open
http://www.textpad.com/ from there?

A box is displayed containing:
"The file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel".
How do I create an association?
How do I get to the "Folder Options control panel"?

Sounds like you need to set a default Web browser on your system. This article should explain everything:
