Empty file explorer

The file explorer (TP 5.1) doesn't show any file or folder if the desktop only contains the recycler icon. It's a bug!
The file explorer doesn't remember the last used path. Perhaps an option could be useful or is it unwanted?

I came across this bug today too. When there is only 1 icon on my desktop, the Explorer window comes up empty.
The Explorer is a great feature, but it could use some enhancements. Remembering the last path as you suggest would be useful. Also, some way to specify a path other than by clicking through all of the folders - typing it in, or maybe being able to jump to the path of an open file.

We can reproduce this behaviour, so thanks for reporting it. We will fix it in the next maintenance upgrade.
