Change in behaviour from TP4 regarding diacritical letters

There is a problem with Textpad 5 regarding non-standard characters.
The issue is that the non-standard characters are changed into standard ones when pasting from the clipboard, by removing accents.
There is a change in behaviour from TP4:
In TP 4, the character "U+0150 LATIN CAPITAL LETTER O WITH DOUBLE ACUTE" was pasted from the clipbaord as O with a tilde, which may be unicode "O WITH TILDE, LATIN CAPITAL LETTER".
Now in TP5, the double-acute accent is pasted as plain old O.
While both these are wrong behaviours, at least in TP 4 a piece of Hungarian text would at least maintain some kind of diacritical marker: although the o-tilde woudl be the wrong letter, the reader would still see that it was acented and should know that it represends his intended double-acute letter.
Please fix this by finally getting to grips with unicode.
