Nice editor, but...

It's a nice editor. Too bad it has so many bugs. I've tried many editors and never seen such odd bugs.

_ You get to the bottom line of the window and the text jumps (scrolls) up and down with each keypress. You must stop and make the window taller.

_ The arrow keys stop responding. Shift+arrow still works (if happen to you want to select text at that moment), but then typing doesn't work. If you try to move the caret with the mouse, the selection follows you.

_ You scroll up or down and find duplications of text. When you PgUp and PgDn again, the text is normal.

_ Suddenly you're in Insert mode. The Insert key has no effect.

Other strange stuff happens, but I won't bore you.

Saving, exiting, and restarting always solve the problem---but should that be necessary?

None of the other apps I use on this system has these problems.

TextPad needs more beta-testing, with debugging code in place to trap these errors.
