Right menu inside document selector should give the option to open the store folder of the selected file in explorer pane.

i.e. if having several files opened and thus visible inside the document selector, one should be able to select one document, rightclick, and select from menue "Go to folder", or someting. Then Explorer pane should switch focus to the folder where this file is stored.

Those are pretty lame poll options, although I like your suggestion. Also, a "Go to current folder" would be useful, opening the folder of the active document.
